Two Cat Parents. One Big Idea.
We're Luz and Thomas, an engaged couple and proud parents of two rescued tabbies, Ronald and Sherlock. Like many cat owners, we watched our indoor cats stare longingly out the window, desperate to feel sunshine and fresh air, while we worried about coyotes, traffic, and every other outdoor danger.
We didn't just want any outdoor space. We wanted something custom, beautiful, and designed specifically around our cats' personalities and our home. So we built it ourselves. When friends and neighbors saw what we'd created, they asked us to design spaces for their cats too.
That's how Monument Catios was born. Today we design custom outdoor catios and indoor cat walls that look like they've always belonged in your home. Every project starts with a personal consultation around your space, your cats, and your style. From there, we handle the design, planning, and project management — partnering with licensed contractors to bring your vision to life.
Ronald
Our adventurous Bengal mix who inspired it all. He spent years staring out windows until we built his first catio. Now he's the most pampered outdoor cat in the neighborhood.
Sherlock
Our shy rescue tabby who thrives in custom quiet nooks and elevated perches. His favorite spot? The monsoon-protected hideaway we designed just for him.

We create custom 3D renderings tailored to your home, your cats, and your budget. Every detail is planned before a single nail goes in.
We coordinate all permit applications, HOA submissions, and city approvals so you don't have to worry about the paperwork.
Professional Build
Physical construction is handled by our licensed, insured contractor partners. You get professional quality and full code compliance on every build.
You'll sign two agreements: one with Monument Catios for design services, and one with our licensed contractor for construction. Full transparency, no surprises.
